Budokon Yoga is not just a form of exercise. It is not merely yoga, nor simply a martial art.
Budokon Yoga is a six pillar living art system that addresses:
Budokon yoga will get you into shape… actually, great shape. And you may end up with six pack abs and the booty you’ve always wanted. But those are just some of the side affects. For everything that you will receive from your practice physically, on the mat, like:
- Awareness of breath
- Greater range of motivation
Your practice will bring you these same traits off your mat, internally, and in your everyday life. You will be more balanced with work and play. Centered in your decision making. Aware of your breath in stressful situations. More flexible in your relationships.
In Budokon we say: “The way you do anything is the way you do everything.” Take a moment and think about that.
The way that I clean my bathroom is the same way that I make love.
The way that I order from a menu is the same way that I choose my partners.
Once we begin to awaken to one part of our life, we then begin to awaken to all of life.
Budokon teaches us to begin cultivating awareness on our yoga mat. As we begin to look at the way we move on the mat, we start to see the same patterns in how we move through life.
I am a certified Budokon Yoga Instructor and hold the rank of Blue Belt.
Budokon is a world wide academy and family. For those who wish to join the community they can participate in our belt system and attend retreats all around the world.
I love Budokon Yoga because it allows me to exercise with childlike playfulness, performing it’s dance with grace and beauty.
Budokon Yoga can be described as a yogic based martial art. Fusing the movements of martial arts and yoga into one beautiful dance. It is a fusion of many forms of movement, drawing inspirations from yoga, Brazilian jiu jitsu, tai chi, boxing, parkour, and my favorite- animal movement!
Call me to set-up private lessons.
My pledge to you: I will create a workout for you that is
- Tailored to you
- Translatable into every aspect of your life
Just because your workout will be fun doesn’t mean you’re not going to work. Believe me, I’m going to make you work! And when you think your body is on the verge of all it can take, we will then start to look at your thoughts and how they affect your movement.
How are your thoughts affected by stressful situations? How does this spill over into your relationships? What affect does that have on your environment.
Budokon yoga will exercise your body, but it will also exercise your mind, and soul.
Are you ready to transform your body, mind, and life. Let’s get started!
